(BETA) Using AI Chat on the contract page

AI Chat lets you ask contract-specific questions and get instant answers without scrolling or searching.

Table of contents

Turn it on:

Go to Settings >AI and Workflow Options > AI Chat

Turn on AI Chat

Any Admin or Department Admin can turn these features on or off for your entire account.

Using AI Chat:

Open a contract in ContractSafe.

Click the AI Chat icon in the contract page action menu.

Type your question or use the suggested ones, such as:

  • “What’s the renewal date?”
  • “List the termination clauses.”

AI chat

View and respond to the AI’s response in the chat panel.

Notes:

  • AI chat currently only works on the contract you have open. It won't be able to answer questions across multiple contracts (Yet)
  • AI chat currently only supports contracts up to 100 pages and is US only for now. Please note that larger contracts may take longer to process.
  • Your chat record on the contract is not saved, so be sure to copy/paste anything you need before closing out the window.
