The Annotations Feature Overview
Just select the key provision in the contract to highlight it and then select the option you'd like from the menu (See below):
- Link to Field: Associate highlighted text with specific fields on the Contract Page, automatically populating these fields.
- Comment: Attach notes to highlighted text for reference or collaboration.
- Copy: Easily copy the highlighted text to the clipboard for use elsewhere.
- Remove Highlight: Clear any existing highlights as needed.
These functions streamline contract review and data entry, ensuring critical information is easily accessible.
Why Is the Contract Text Highlighted in Blue?
When the Annotations feature is active, ContractSafe's AI Assistant identifies and highlights key information (such as names and dates) within your contracts in blue.
This visual cue indicates that the highlighted text is linked to a corresponding field on the Contract Page, facilitating quick reference and verification.
