What happens if we hit our contract limit?

Each ContractSafe subscription plan includes capacity for a set number of contracts. What happens if we hit this limit?

Once your contract capacity limit has been reached, everyone on your organization will no longer be able to add more contracts. 

You can see at any time on your Contract List how many contracts are in your account. There's a counter at the top left of the page (just next to the Filters button).


There are two convenient ways to resolve this limitation.

1. By archiving your expired contracts - How can I archive expired contracts?

When a contract is archived, it will:
  • Still, be available to find and restore again under Filters > Archived on the Contract List page
  • Be removed from your Contract List, Search Results & Reporting
  • Disable any active date reminders
  • Not count towards your total capacity of active contracts

2. By upgrading your account capacity - You can do this by reaching out to your dedicated Success Manager or by emailing support@contractsafe.com. 

Note that Attachments and Archived contracts are not included in your contract count.
