ContractSafe includes lots of standard fields for each contract, but it's common that our users want to track additional information that's specific to their business and workflow. That's where Custom Fields and Templates come in!
A business user (no coding skills required!) can quickly and easily create Custom Fields. The format of these fields can be any of the following:
(1) currency field (in any currency you need)
(2) dropdown
(3) multiple choice
(4) checkbox
(5) text field
(6) number field
(7) ledger field.
You can use them to capture key information about your contracts or track your contract workflow . . . pre- or post-execution.

You can also group Custom Fields into forms (we call these Templates) of Custom Fields and name them for the kind of agreements they relate to. This focuses your users on the specific information you want them to enter for different kinds of contracts. For example, you might have a Template for Vendor Agreements that includes Custom Fields to track the payment terms, monthly expense, the property and region it applies to and whether the vendor has insurance in place (See screenshot below). Or, you could have a Template for Employment Contracts that includes title, salary, and who the employee reports to.

Note: Custom Fields and Templates are available to Standard, Professional and Enterprise subscribers.
