Just because we're all working from home doesn't mean we're slacking off! We're excited to announce a bunch of exciting new features for you this month. You can nowgenerate redlines, convert scans to Worddocuments, login with your Googleaccount, and use anauthenticator for 2 factor authentication.
Redlines
You can now generate a redline from any two system documents, regardless of whether they are scans, PDFs or Word documents (e.g. a Template and a proposal sent back from a counterparty). You can either do this from the Contract Page when you replace a document or just by choosing it in the Options menu:
This will generate a Word document with all the changes tracked. The new redline will be stored as an attachment and emailed to you for quick access. This feature is available at the Standard level and above.
Scan to Word
Another big timesaver is converting any scanned documents you have into editable Word documents. Just go to the Contract Page of the contract you want to convert and choose Download...you'll see the option to convert the scan to a Word file. We've (unsuccessfully) used a lot of these in the past, and this feature generates a high quality document! For more...click here.
Login with Google
Now you can use a Google ID to login to ContractSafe (if your org is not using single sign on already!). This feature works the same way as on other sites. If you need more details, here's an article.
MFA with Authenticator
We've heard from many of you that you'd like to be able to use two factor authentication when you don't have a cell phone at times (overseas, hiking the Appalachian trial, etc). Now you have the choice! A new user can select their method right away, but if you want to change, just go to the Settings page and click on Login. Right under your name you'll have the option to change your Authentication method (update a cell phone, switch to an Authenticator). For more details...here you go!
As always, we also released lots of other bug fixes, tweaks and improvements to make ContractSafe your fastest and easiest way to manage your contracts. Let us know what you think!
